Working with the California State Fairs in 1982, the state Grange was able to have the Grange Youth Fair Program included in the exposition rules as a sanctioned group, on the same level as 4-H and FFA.

The Grange Youth Fair Program allows young members to exhibit at county fairs and exhibitions within California, which has recognized and approved the Grange Youth Fair Program. The mission of the Grange Youth Fair Program is to maximize the potential of our young Grange members by providing guidance as they develop a greater understanding and appreciation for our agricultural abundance, as well as creating and developing individual skills.
