H. C. S. Office of Emergency Services meeting on Winter Flooding Preparedness

El Niño Winter Flooding Community Meetings

NOAA is forecasting one of the strongest El Niños on record this winter, and the water in Humboldt Bay is already running high.

Before the storms arrive, the Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office of Emergency Services is hosting four community meetings in partnership with the National Weather Service, PG&E, Caltrans, Humboldt COAD, and other local agencies. Pick the one closest to you.

All meetings run 6 to 8 pm.
